I am ecstatic that we travelled this wonderful journey together since i started Blogging just a mere three months ago and during that period i have grown and still prepared to grow through, of course, Mentoring or eMentoring sessions.

My question is, can you change your mentor or eMentor and what the reason why?

Mentoring in the 21st century

The essence of mentoring refers to the strategic intent to increase leadership capability through mentoring and indeed, technology is at the heart of this guided learning experience

An essential part of the solution was the need to reduce the time spent away from work, removing the need for travel and providing instantaneous support.
The challenges were overcome by introducing technology to enable a just-in-time approach and provide an instant connection and reliable service.
This overall concept was the new e-mentoring paradigm.

At the heart of e-mentoring model was the use of web enabled and mobile technology, which would facilitate speed learning…any time…anywhere!
Mentees tend to improve their self-confidence and self-awareness through mentoring / e-mentoring.
e-Mentoring / Mentoring develop a coaching culture, enrich team-work ethics and indeed shared learning concept.

You don’t need a man, you need a CHAMPION

Some have careers outside the home and some don’t, but the common denominator is at some point they have concluded it’s not enough – they are not happy.

Beginning somewhere around adolescence, there are two developmental phases that people must navigate.
First is that of discovering and forming own unique identity.
Second is that of learning to have relationships and developing the capacity for intimacy.
As a matter of fact, different sexes react and conform differently, the males react well with the first one where are the females are good with the second one.

eMentoring Concept

Mend (Ooops i meant Ment) Mentor Mentee Mentoring Mentorship
The above terms have great meaning if not impact.
Over the years, MENTORING has been simplified and the practical rationale all have been well-articulated in all spheres of life.

Mentoring has also embraced technological revolution of the 21st century with eMentoring, which refers to providing a guided relationship using online software or email and its sometimes referred to as Web-based  eMentoring.

eMentoring Software allows for both the mentor and the mentee to log into a secure online environment where they can converse under supervision of moderators and coordinators.
eMentoring programs started way back (in 1990 to be precise) in Canada.
